Polk County District Court results for Oct. 22

During Polk County District Court on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014, with Judge Mack Brittain presiding, 110 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Ricky Thomas Jackson was convicted of failure to appear. Jackson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Sharon Rose Mathis was convicted of aid and abet domestic violence protective order. Mathis was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days.

Blake Logan Maum was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Maum was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.

Travis Wayne Raxter was convicted of two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor and driving while license revoked. Raxter was sentenced to one day in jail with credit.

Brad Mitchell Ressler was convicted of impaired equipment. Ressler was fined $40 and court costs.

Robert Lee Roy IV was convicted of impaired equipment. Roy was fined $40 and court costs.

Jamey Lyndon Skipper was convicted of possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. Skipper was sentenced to two years supervised probation, 72 hours of community service, a $200 fine and court costs.

Michelle M. Trombley was convicted of possess a weapon on state property/courthouse. Trombley was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.
