Robert Dean “Bobby” Martin, 65, of Rutherfordton, N.C., died Oct. 7. Survivors include daughter, Amy Monteith of Spindale, N.C.; sons Todd Martin of Rutherfordton, N.C. and Shannon Dean Martin of Forest City, N.C.; brothers Johnny Martin of Mill Spring, Marvin Martin of Saluda and David Martin of Hickory, N.C.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services were held Oct. 10 at McMahan’s Funeral Home Chapel.
