“They do have a decent team,” Farmer said of Blacksburg. Farmer said that from what he’s learned, Blacksburg seems to be much improved since last season. “We’re not, program-wise, able to overlook anybody,” Farmer noted. However, he also reported, “They (the Wildcats) do some things we feel we can take advantage of.”

Last week, Blacksburg dropped a 23-14 game to Liberty (who the Cardinals defeated). The Cardinals lost to a very good Chesnee team last week. Both squads meet Friday, hungry for a a win.

The Cardinals are dealing with a couple of injuries, a situation, that Farmer said they’ll have to deal with, and go for a win tonight.
