Lloyd Thomas Thompson, 89, of Saluda, N.C. died Oct. 2. He was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Betty Pace Thompson. Surviving are daughters, Cindy Thompson Bishop and Jenny Thompson, both of Charlotte, N.C.; two grandchildren; and loving relatives and dear friends.

A service was held Oct. 5 in the First Baptist Church of Saluda.
