Members of the Columbus Lions Club would like to invite Polk County residents to drop by the Columbus Town Hall this Thursday, Oct. 2, from 4-6 p.m. to meet the Lions and learn how they serve our community. One of the most important things Lions do is to help our Polk County neighbors who need assistance to pay for eye exams and eyeglasses.  The Columbus Club is now the only Lions club in Polk County, so all residents are invited.  A desire to serve our community is the primary requirement for being a Lion; attending meetings is optional.  For information, call 828-894-7062.
