For the first time in Red Fox Country Club history (circa 1968), the tennis club will be represented in the North Carolina USTA League Championships. The completion of over 16 state teams will commence today, Friday, Sept. 19 and continue through Sunday, Sept. 21 in Hickory, at various tennis venues in the immediate area. These tri-level teams consist of three doubles teams composed of 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 rated players. Director of Tennis and Team Captain, Jim Greene organized and formed the teams for the league season with local area players.

“These ladies have had a great season, and I am proud of the efforts and dedication they displayed this year. I am looking forward to watching them compete at the state level,” Greene said

Team members include Jessica Price, Roberta Heinrich, Sue Tomkins, Mary Livesay, Tracy Becker, Janet Hunt, Hanna High, Dottie Kinlaw, Darlene McFarland, Ruza Pocivavsek, Cindy Church and Co-Captain, Kelly Wood.
