Stewart completes 325 holes in 24 hours

In an effort to raise money and awareness for Folds of Honor Foundation, Brian Stewart, PGA Professional at Bright’s Creek Golf, Equestrian and Sporting Community in Mill Spring completed 325 holes in the twenty-four hour period from Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. until Sept. 1 at 8 p.m.

Folds of Honor Foundation provides scholarships and assistance to the spouses and children of those killed or disabled in military service to America.

Stewart’s 325 holes included 51 birdies, three eagles and one hole-in-one on the 75th hole at 1:10 a.m. Stewart’s efforts have raised over $5000 already with donations being accepted throughout next week.

In conjunction with a nation-wide campaign started by a member of the PGA of America, Stewart was accompanied on the award-winning Tom Fazio designed Bright’s Creek Golf Course by friends and family and colleagues.
