To The Editor:
The unclaimed photo that published on Aug. 28 is of the ensemble actors of the musical “Nunsense,” that TLT produced, having just arrived home from Newbern with all of the awards in winning the N.C Theater Conference. It won Best Show, Best Director and Best Actress in 1994. From left to right, the people are Helen Byrd, Patti Peake, Liz Norstrom, Donna Christopher and Helen McDowell. The play was received with such gusto that we were entered in the conference. We performed Nunsense to sold out houses each night in Tryon and continued until we had the money to go. As Mother Superior (Liz Norstrom) would say, “It was a blessing!”
