072714-TryonArts&CraftsCamp

Tryon Arts & Crafts School’s summer program for young people is in its fourth week. This annual program features weekly camps, which encourage kids to explore a wide variety of media and techniques. Depending on which week they choose to attend, students may learn about blacksmithing, pottery, fiber arts, woodworking, jewelry making and other subjects. Lessons are intertwined with storytelling and music, and students prepare and present a play for family and friends– as well as a display of their artwork — at the end of each week. For more about all the Tryon Arts & Crafts has to offer, go to TryonArtsandCrafts.org.
