The Peach Festival at Columbus United Methodist Church is coming up. On Friday, Aug. 1, the Columbus U.M. Chuch will hold its annual Peach Festival from 4:30 – 7 p.m. For a small fee, there will be hamburgers or hot dogs, baked beans, lots of peaches and ice cream.
The church is located across from Stearns Gym and tickets may be purchased from United Methodist Women or at the door.
Profits from this dinner are given to local charities such as Steps to Hope, Thermal Belt Outreach, Polk Vocational Services and the Salvation Army, so the public is invited to come out and enjoy.
