Polk’s Brady selected for 2A All- State

Polk County 2014 graduate Wes Brady was recently selected as 2A All-State from the North Carolina Baseball Coaches Association.

Brady finished his Wolverine season with a .463 batting average, .806 slugging percentage, 17 runs scored, 27 RBIs and four home runs.

Brady also finished with a .979 fielding percentage playing short stop and pitcher.

Brady is a two-time all-conference selection and an all-area selection.

Brady will continue his baseball career playing for Lenoir-Rhyne University this year.

Brady joins a other former Polk County baseball players who played for Polk County Head Baseball Coach Ty Stott in making All-State.
