Lore Pace Green

Lore P. Green, 77, of Saluda was called home to be with her Heavenly Father after a long journey with cancer on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the home of her daughter in Forest City with her family by her side.

She was the daughter of the late Bedford and Louise Pace.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Green, who passed away in 1987, and later by her second husband, Lenburg Williams, who passed away in 2013; and by a son, Cecil Ray Green.

Lore was a loving mother and grandmother who was known for her beautiful smile and loving kindness to all.

As a devoted Christian, she attended Mt. Pleasant Church in Lynn, N.C.

Surviving are her daughters, Cecelia Plott and her husband, Tony of Etowah, N.C., Cindy Heaton and her husband, Haskell, of Shelby, N.C. and Connie Lytle and her husband, John of Forest City N.C.; step-children, Paul Williams, Bonnie Kinsland, and Susie Nunally; six sisters; two brothers; one step-sister-in-law; two step-brothers-in-law; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A special thank you is extended to her loving sister-in-law and friend, Evelyn Jackson.

A celebration of her new life will be held at noon on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Grace Baptist Church in Saluda, N.C.  with Rev. John Williams officiating.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Rutherford County for all of their love and the level of care that they had provided Mrs. Green.
