“Crafting wine is a labor of love,” says Dennis Lanahan, owner of Mountain Brook Vineyards. The next Chamber Business After Hours will be held there, and Lanahan welcomes members to attend.
Located at 731 Phillips Dairy Rd., Tryon, it’s actually out in the township, East of Hwy 9, which is where other local vineyards are found in the beautiful rolling foothills of our Thermal Belt region.
The event will be held in the tasting room/fermenting facility, where members can sample several of five types of wine made onsite. The date is set for Tuesday, April 29 from 6 – 7:30 p.m., a bit later than usual.
Bring business cards for networking and door prizes. Members can also bring a door prize. RSVP is required, by calling the Chamber at 828-859-6236, or email Janet@Carolinafoothillschamber.com.
Directions: take 74 East to Hwy 9 and go south to Sandy Plains Rd./Hwy 14 crossroads. Go left and take first right onto Floyd Blackwell Rd. Then left onto Coxe Rd., and then left onto Phillips Dairy Rd. Look for the Mountain Brook Vineyard entrance on the left. Go up the drive and the facility is on the right.   RSVP by Monday, April 28.
