Mr. Fred E. Counts of Tryon passed away on April 15, 2014. He was born on November 15 to the late George and Isabelle Counts. He was predeceased by five silblings and a son, Ronald Vincent.
Left to cherish fond memories are his wife, Mary Douglas Counts; children, Audrey Hannon (William) of Belmont, N.C., Cheryl Lauderdale (Alphonzo) of Beechwood Ohio, Brian and Darrell Counts of Tryon, Angela Logan (Herbert) also of Tryon and Pamela Martin (David) of Atlanta Ga.; one brother, Ullysses Counts of Tryon; one sister, Lola Dudlley (Walter) of Shaker Heights Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and a host of grandchildren and great-grands.
Visitation will be held at 1 p.m. at Garrison Chapel Baptist Church on Monday April 21. Home-going celebration will begin after visitation.
