Shirley Patricia Bradley, 76, of Landrum, S.C. passed away Tuesday morning, April 15, 2014 in the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum, SC.
Born in Polk County, N.C., she was the daughter of the late William M. Bradley and Ruby Lee Phillips Bradley. She was the owner and operator of the Beauty Nook in Tryon for many years. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Landrum, SC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Donna Foster Williams; siblings, Helen B. Champion, Barbara B. Wilson, Kenneth R. Bradley and William Bradley.
Surviving is one daughter, Sherry Suber of Landrum, S.C.; one son, Bill Foster of Hendersonville, N.C.; one sister, Kay Ravan (Phillip) of Columbus, N.C.; four brothers, Austin Bradley (Louise), Frank “Rat” Bradley both of Tryon, Dean Bradley (Patricia) of Saluda, N.C. and Charles Bradley (Gail) of Gramling, S.C.  Also surviving are five grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, April 18, 2014 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, N.C. with Rev. Philip Hurst officiating.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 1 p.m. to 1:45 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
