Steps to HOPE’s Board of Directors recently honored the Second Chance Thrift Store staff at a Larkin’s lunch.
The Thrift Store staff – Manager Edith Lance; Retail Assistant/Driver Randy Conklin; Cashier/Retail Assistant Joyce Neely; Warehouse Assistant Alan Pritchard; and Warehouse Assistant Douglas Wofford – were presented with a Star Performer Award for ongoing commitment and dedication.
Twice annually, the Thrift Store closes for seasonal change-over, at which time it is thoroughly cleaned, painted and displayed for their new Fall/Winter and Spring/Summer lines.
Second Chance Thrift Store is critical to the success of Steps to HOPE, providing roughly 49% of the domestic violence and sexual assault prevention and treatment center’s operating expense.
