LMS was the setting for Double Header Baseball verses the Broome Centurions Thursday, April 3. Cardinal Defense has been up to the task for the last several games making plays and being very stingy. In Game one, Cree Waters struck out nine batters and Zander Steele came in to pitch in relief striking out two to combine for the no hitter. Cardinals won five to one. Dalton Kuykendall, Adam Powell, and Alex Hawk went two for three at the plate. Cree Waters, Michael Clark, and Justus Horne each had one hit. Dalton & Adam scored two runs each and Justus Horne scored once. Dalton caught a great game behind the plate daring them to run.

In Game two, Zander Steele struck out three batters and Isaiah Adderholt came in to pitch in relief striking out two to combine for the one hitter. Cree Waters caught a great game and kelp the Centurions at bay. The Cardinals cranked up the Big Red Machine for eight runs in the first inning and held on to a eight to two victory. Dalton Kuykendall, Alex Hawk, Adam Powell, Michael Clark and Justus Horne each had two hits and Chandler Carroll had one. Dalton scored two runs and Alex, Adam, Michael,

Chandler, Justus, and Blake Mace scored one run each. Blake Mace threw out two Broome batters from Right field in the Titus Play. It was a great day for the Cardinals picking up two more wins on the season, raising the overall record to eight wins, one loss and two ties.
