In the game that took place on Monday, March 24, the Landrum Middle School baseball team broke open a 1-1 tie in the bottom of the third inning, scoring 4 runs. They added 2 more in the fourth inning. Dalton Kuykendall and Zander Steele both scored 2 runs each, and Cree Waters, Adam Powell and Drake scored 1 run each.
Dalton Kuykendall, Zander Steele, Alex Hawk, Adam Powell, Michael Clark and Easton Jenkins each had a hit.  Steele and Hawk had a double and the others had singles.
Cree Waters picked up the win on the mound striking out 4 Jonesville batters, scattering 4 hits and allowing only 1 run.
Dalton Kuykendall came in to pitch in relief allowing 1 hit and striking out 2 batters.  Easton Jenkins played another great defensive game behind the plate, throwing out a Wildcat on an attempted steal to end the fifth inning.
The final Score in Landrum was Cardinals, 7, Wildcats, 1
