To the Editor:
I was born in Tryon and have read the Tryon Bulletin for many years, although I no longer live there.
I do take notice of what is going on.
My opinion about the veteran’s sign is for you on the council to think about whom you should be thankful to for being a free country and to not be afraid to express it.
To think that our country has disintegrated to the extent that we cannot stand up for those people who stood up for us when our country needed them is an outrage.
Let him keep his sign up. Be grateful that there are still people who believe in America and her values.
