Wolverine Jacob Collins to run for USC Upstate

On Thursday, March 6 PCHS track and cross-country standout Jacob Collins signed a letter of intent with USC (University of South Carolina) Upstate at Spartanburg S.C., on a track and cross-country scholarship.

“They (USC Upstate) have shown interest (in Collins) for a while,” Peoples said.
Collins, a senior, is performing on the Wolverines’ track team this spring, where he’ll compete in the 1,600 and 3,200 meter (one and two-mile) runs, and might also run in the 4X400, 4X800 relays and in the 800-meter run.
