Henson’s Building Material of Landrum has helped the Tryon Garden Club prepare for spring by donating mulch for use in the Depot garden in Tryon.
The Tryon Garden Club has maintained the Depot garden since 1948 with funding from a Kirby Grant at the Polk County Community Foundation. One of the club’s missions is to “contribute to the beautification of Tryon.”
Carol Meeske, Tryon Garden Club’s Depot Garden chairperson, gratefully accepted Henson’s donation and declared, “We are all ready and waiting for spring to arrive.”
