Polk district court results

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, Jan. 22 with Judge Pete Knight presiding, 159 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Noe De Jesus Morale Aguirre was convicted of no operator’s license. Aguirre was fined $50 and court costs.
Jimmy Camacho was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Camacho was sentenced to 35 days in jail with credit for time served.
Joshua Daniel Chandler was convicted of unauthorized use of motor vehicle. Chandler was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.
Charles Coleman was convicted of felony possession of scheduled VI controlled substance. Coleman was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation, a $75 fine and court costs.
Andrew David Cooke was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Cooke was fined $30 and court costs.
Furman Lee Davis III was convicted of possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and attempted possession of firearm by felon. Davis was sentenced to two years supervised probation and court costs.
Timothy Earl Elmore was convicted of speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone. Elmore was fined $30 and court costs.
Steven Orlando Fowler was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Fowler was sentenced to one year supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $50 fine and court costs.
Grover Allison Gargus was convicted of open container malt beverage/unfortified wine on county/city property. Gargus was to pay court costs.
Kevin Robert Girard was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Girard was fined $40 and court costs.
Trey Alexander Goode was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Goode was fined $30 and court costs.
Casey Allen Gray was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Gray was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Yashonda Nicole Hall was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Hall was fined $100 and court costs.
George McKendre Haynes was convicted of felony probation violation. Haynes was sentenced to 12 days in jail with credit for time served and probation was terminated unsuccessfully.
Fred Junior Hensley was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Hensley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Alana Marie Jeffrey was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia. Jeffrey was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $145 fine and court costs.
Derek Shane Lawrence was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Lawrence was sentenced to two years supervised probation, seven days in jail with credit for time served, a $100 fine and court costs.
William David Lawson was convicted of unlawfully pass emergency/public service vehicle and open container after consumption of alcohol first. Lawson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $10 fine and court costs.
Michael Anthony Lubiani was convicted of speeding 44 mph in a 35 mph zone. Lubiani was fined $30 and court costs.
Matthew Colt Martin was convicted of speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone. Martin was fined $30 and court costs.
Jonathan Lee Mathes was convicted of possession of marijuana up to ½ ounce and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Mathes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $50 fine and court costs.
Gaisha Murray was convicted of failure to stop at stop sign/flashing red light. Murray was fined $30 and court costs.
Donna Lyn Picklesimer was convicted of possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Picklesimer was fined $30 and court costs.
Donald Gary Pressley Jr. was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Pressley was fined $100 and court costs.
Jeffrey Tyler Queen was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Queen was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for time served.
Jaylen Richard Reid was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Reid as fined $50 and court costs.
Randy Yates Roach was convicted of simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. Roach was sentenced to three days in jail with credit for time served.
Bakuri Samqurashvile was convicted of speeding 54 mph in a 45 mph zone. Samqurashvile was fined $30 and court costs.
Douglas Earl Thompson was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Thompson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Maria Trejo-Hernandez was convicted of expired operator’s license, no operator’s license and failure to stop for stop sign/flashing red light. Trejo-Hernandez was to pay court costs.
Gary D. Triplett was convicted of level five driving while impaired. Triplett was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Jack Lee Turner was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Turner was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for time served.
Tiffany Dawn Watkins was convicted of level two driving while impaired. Watkins was sentenced to one year supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $50 fine and court costs.
Taylor Michelle Wilson was convicted of two counts of driving while license revoked. Wilson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.
