Mary Cooper Moss, 93, formerly of Columbus, died Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013 in Autumn Care Nursing Center, Saluda.

Born in Asheville, N.C., she was the daughter of the late General Albert and Carroll Jenkins Cooper. She was the widow of Manuel C. Moss, who died in l980. Mary was a retired textile employee and had attended Midway Baptist Church, Columbus, for a number of years.

Surviving are: two sons, Donald Moss (Judy) of Mather, Pa. and Tony Moss of Columbus; five daughters, Betty Hunter of Clearwater, Fla.; Sue Lynch of Columbus; Rebecca Hutcherson of Columbus and Priscilla Meyer of Greensboro, N.C. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Manuel Moss, who died in l994.
