Polk County sheriff’s office report

From Dec. 1 through Dec. 15, 2013, the Polk County Sheriff’s Office answered 191 calls.

There were 21 arrests, 21 citations, 28 criminal papers and 35 civil papers served. Officers assisted other agencies four times, completed 617 house checks, 649 church checks, 1,111 business checks and patrolled 10,761 miles. Sheriff Donald Hill and the sheriff’s office would like to thank everyone who came to the open house on Dec. 12 and wishes everyone a happy and safe holiday.
