Paula Foster Capozzi, 45, of Tryon, passed away Monday, Dec. 16, 2013.

Born in Polk County, she was the daughter of Linda Greene of Tryon and the late Harold Foster.

A 1985 graduate of Tryon High School, she attended Western Carolina University completing a bachelor’s degree in business. Paula was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels and Operation Christmas Child.

Surviving besides her mother are: her husband, Robert F. Capozzi; two sons, Anthony Pereira of Tryon and Zane Capozzi of the home; twin daughters, Cameron and Ashton Capozzi, both of the home. Also surviving are a brother, Will Foster of Tryon and her maternal Grandmother Frances Greene of Tryon.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, 2013 in the McFarland Funeral Chapel, Tryon, with Rev. Michael Keel officiating. Memorials may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P.O. Box 3000 Boone, N.C. 28607
