Polk district court results from Wednesday, Dec. 4

In Polk County District Court Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013 with Judge Emily G. Cowan presiding, 182 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to superior court.

The following persons were convicted of a crime:

Cammy R. Blackwell was convicted of misdemeanor break or enter a motor vehicle and misdemeanor breaking or entering. Blackwell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.

Gerald Bradley was convicted of two counts of simple affray. Bradley was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation and court costs.

Jason Lee Brady was convicted of inmate possession of tobacco/phone. Brady was sentenced to 10 days in jail.

Bowman Brooks Jr. was convicted of failure to appear on misdemeanor and possession of open container/consumption of alcohol in passenger area. Brooks was sentenced to six days in jail with credit for time served.

Edward Lee Ferree was convicted of resisting public officer and carrying a concealed weapon. Ferree was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $250 fine and court costs.

Sandra Robertso James was convicted of speeding 70 mph in a 65 mph zone. James was fined $30 and court costs.

George Robert Krise, 2nd was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Krise was fined $40 and court costs.

Mason Erick Kropp was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Kropp was fined $40 and court costs.

Maureen A. Morello was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Morello was fined $40 and court costs.

Greg Martin Owen was convicted of speeding 100 mph in a 65 mph and failure to appear. Owen was sentenced to 20 days in jail with credit for time served.

Steven Austin Parker was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Parker was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.

Michael Edward Reusch was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Reusch was fined $30 and court costs.

Blake Adam Roach was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone and operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Roach was fined $24 and court costs for speeding and fined $40 and court costs for impaired equipment.

Robert Edward Sprinkle was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Sprinkle was fined $30 and court costs.

Amber Danelle Staton was convicted of failure to wear seat belt-driver. Staton was fined $25 and court costs.

Gloria Michel Thompson was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Thompson was fined $40 and court costs.

Troy Wayne Willard was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Willard was fined $30 and court costs.
