Polk Nov. 13 district court results

In Polk County District Court held Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, with Judge Athena F. Brooks presiding, 163 cases were heard. Some cases were continued, dismissed or sent to Superior Court.
The following persons were convicted of a crime:
Olajuwon Anton Abrams was convicted of failure to notify DMV of address change. Abrams was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Tiffany Leigh Anders was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone. Anders was fined $50 and court costs.
Allison Nicole Bridgeman was convicted of fictitious information to officer and failure to appear on misdemeanor. Bridgeman was sentenced to 20 days in jail with 18 days of credit for time served and court costs.
Wayne Allen Burnett was convicted of operating a vehicle with impaired equipment. Burnett was fined $40 and court costs.
Gettis Andra Chambers was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Chambers was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, a $300 fine and court costs.
Ethan Sky Cooper was convicted of sexual battery. Cooper was sentenced to two years supervised probation and court costs.
Ivan Ramon Cunningham was convicted of two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor. Cunningham was sentenced to 18 days in jail with credit for time served and court costs.
Robert Delau II was convicted of resisting public officer, fictitious information to officer and level 1 driving while impaired. Delau was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Leigh Metcalf Edwards was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Edwards was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail, a $200 fine and court costs.
Leigh Metcalf Edwards was convicted of level 1 driving while impaired. Edwards was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, 30 days in jail with credit for 28 days, a $400 fine and court costs.
Darrell Donnell Gary was convicted of possession of stolen goods/property and misdemeanor larceny. Gary was sentenced to one year supervised probation, $800 in restitution and court costs for possession of stolen goods/property and one year supervised probation and court costs for misdemeanor larceny.
Efrain Barnaz Gonzales was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone and no operator’s license. Gonzales was fined $50 and court costs.
Heather Lee-Ann Gosnell was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Gosnell was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, one day in jail, a $100 fine and court costs.
Samantha Ann Haynes was convicted of driving while license revoked. Haynes was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $300 fine and court costs.
Christopher B. Jackson was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Jackson was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Larry Lee Johnson was convicted of felony probation violation. Johnson was sentenced to 30 days in jail with credit for 30 days and probation terminated.
Javier Lopez Lopez was convicted of no operator’s license. Lopez was fined $50 and court costs.
Gregory Walter Miranda was convicted of speeding 74 mph in a 65 mph zone and possession of drug paraphernalia. Miranda was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, a $100 fine and court costs.
Tracey Carver Moore was convicted of reckless driving to endanger. Moore was fined $92 mph and court costs.
Scott Renaud-Randall was convicted of level 2 driving while impaired. Renaud-Randall was sentenced to 18 months supervised probation, seven days in jail and court costs.
Iyappan Subramanian was convicted of unsafe movement. Subramanian was fined $100 and court costs.
William Richard Werhan was convicted of level 5 driving while impaired. Werhan was sentenced to one year unsupervised probation, 24 hours of community service, a $100 fine and court costs.
Ashley Morgan Whitaker was convicted of speeding 79 mph in a 65 mph zone. Whitaker was fined $90 and court costs.
Joshua Aaron Williams was convicted of possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance and carrying a concealed weapon. Williams was sentenced to one year supervised probation and court costs for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule VI controlled substance and on year supervised probation and court costs for carrying a concealed weapon.
