Carolina Camera Club meets Nov. 12 to select photos to show at Upstairs

Published 11:18pm Wednesday, November 6, 2013

On Nov. 12, members of the Carolina Camera Club will be meeting to decide which of their photographs to show at the Upstairs Gallery. The showing will take place Jan. 31 through March 15.

Each member will bring their best choices in print or on a flash drive for comments by other club members. Anyone interested in photography is welcome to attend to learn from the selection process.

The meeting will be at the Tryon Fine Arts Center’s Mahler room at 6:30 p.m.

The club usually meets the third Tuesday of the month. Club members are meeting early this month so they can attend a Rick Sammons seminar in Spartanburg on Nov. 19.

Rick Sammons is one of this country’s best-known photographers. More information about this seminar can be found at ricksammon.com/seminars.
