Broken Bread performing at CROP Walk

Broken Bread, the praise band for Tryon United Methodist Church, got its start at Foothills CROP Walk in 2005.

Vocalist Pam Justice says, “At the time we didn’t even have a name, so our pastor Neil Haynes, the lead guitarist of the group, came up with the name Broken Bread.

It just seems appropriate that from then until now Broken Bread has been a part of the Foothills CROP Walk.”

Current band members include Steve Collie, Robbie Johnson, Travis Bright, David McKee, Kevin McCall, Justice and TUMC pastor Phil Hurst.

Broken Bread will play at this year’s CROP Walk at Harmon Field, Sunday, Nov. 3, starting at 2 p.m.
