Debt settled, time for Tryon to move forward

While they did not hit the total mark, they have worked out an agreement with the sculptor. Now we can all take an example from their actions.

Many of these individuals were not in charge or even in volunteer positions when the statue was commissioned. They didn’t however say, “This is not our problem.” They didn’t waste time looking for someone to blame. Instead, these individuals did something about the issue and they moved forward with positive action.

Positive action is what this and any other community needs.

Kudos to those who donated from $7,500 to $20 to make this positive action possible. Kudos to the individuals who led the effort to move Tryon forward, not stalling it in negativity and the blame game.
