Doris F. Thomson died Sept. 9.

Survivors include husband James; children, Ann Bowden of Spartanburg and James R. Thomson, III of Inman; grandchildren Christopher Bowden (Lee) of Atlanta and Elisabeth Gabor (Jeff) of Charleston; great-grandchild, Tyler Gabor of Charleston; sister, Alice Boyd (Al) of Grass Valley, CA; and brother-in-law, Billy Thomson (Helen) of Landrum.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Sept. 12, 2013 in the Petty Funeral Home Chapel.
