The Polk County Sheriff’s Office has located John Buchanan, 62, of Columbus who was reported Monday as a missing person by his wife.

The sheriff’s office had released an alert through Nixle, their automated messaging system, about Buchanan not being heard from after leaving his home Sunday, July 21 around 10 a.m.

Buchanan left his home around 10 a.m. July 21 driving his white 2008 Ford truck. Reports said Buchanan left his home in a distraught state of mind.
