Kenneth Waldrop

Robert Kenneth Waldrop, 84,  formerly of  Markham Road, Tryon, NC died Sunday, July 21, 2013  in Autumn Care Nursing Home, Saluda, NC.

Born in Polk County, he was the son of the late Charlie  Otis  and Ardell Phillips Waldrop.  He was  retired from Ivey Electric, Spartanburg, SC.  Mr. Waldrop was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is a son: Scott Waldrop of Campobello, SC; two brothers, Hunter Waldrop of Tryon, NC and Joe Waldrop of Columbus.

Also surviving is a grandson, Julian Waldrop of Campobello, SC.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, 2013 in Polk Memorial Gardens, Columbus, NC with Rev. Jeff Harris officiating.
