On Aug. 8-10, the 2013-2014 Landrum High School (LHS) Competition Cheerleading Team will host Cardinal Cheer Camp for children between the ages of 3 and 12.
Camp will be held at the LHS auxiliary gym from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 8 and Aug. 9 and from 9 a.m.-noon on Aug. 10. On Aug. 10, the campers will perform at 11 a.m. in the LHS main gym. Family members are encouraged to attend this performance.
The camp offers six hours of positive and energetic instruction led by the LHS Competition Cheerleading Team.
Campers will also receive snacks, an LHS Cardinal Cheer Camp T-shirt, access to the Cardinal Store – stocked with great LHS spirit merchandise, daily appearances from “The Cardinal,” opportunities to win a Landrum High School Spirit Stick, a Cardinal Cheer Camp certificate, free admission to the LHS vs. Broome home football game on Aug. 30, and a sideline performance at the LHS vs. Broome home football game.
The LHS Cheerleading Team is also looking for potential sponsorships from local businesses within the community.
The team practices numerous hours to be able to compete at the regional and state level, and the cost to attend these competitions can become quite expensive.
Sponsorship entitles the business to a 3×3 company advertisement on the Cardinal Cheer Camp T-shirt (logo, contact name and phone number), announcement of sponsorship at the LHS Cardinal Cheer Camp Performance, announcement of sponsorship at each home football game and a personal T-shirt. The camp hopes to host more than 60 participants during the three-day event.
