“Many of the runners commented after the half that they fell in love with the course and appreciated all of the volunteers along the race route,” said TRC President Laura Phelps. The scenic and relatively flat course begins and ends at Harmon Field with a majority of the 13.1 miles meandering along River Road.

The Tryon Running Club is a 501(c)(3) chapter of the Road Runners Clubs of America that welcomes walkers and runners of all ages and abilities. Group training runs are regularly scheduled and members enjoy discounts to club events including races and clinics.
