Stephanie Vorhis McFarlane, 76, of Bear Creek Lane, Saluda, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 in the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills, Landrum.

Born in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Julieann Krolovak Vorhis. She moved to Saluda in l983, coming from Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Richard B. McFarlane of the home; a son, Steve McFarlane (Sheri) of Ft. Worth, Texas; a daughter, Jule McFarlane of Tryon; four grandchildren, Cash, Devin, Shevon and Amanda; one great-granddaughter Ava.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
