Sculpture 2013

To the editor:

I am continually impressed by the events and exhibits available to the public in our wonderful community.

A recent visit to a prestigious art show in Charlotte did not hold a candle to the opening of the Tryon Fine Art Center’s “Sculpture 2013” exhibition. The work is of the highest caliber by a wide range of talented artists from our region and beyond.

I encourage everyone to visit this exhibit, which graces the outside of the center and beautiful new landscape as well as inside on two levels.

These sculptures evoke memories, invite dialogue and elevate your spirit. It’s a perfect opportunity to experience the power of great art.
