Howard Wilson Raines, 86, of Landrum passed away on April 10, 2013.

He was husband of Mae Pruitt Raines and the late Mable Morgan Raines.

He was self employed and served in the US Navy during WWII and Korea.

He is survived by his wife, Mae Pruitt Raines; two sons, Steve Raines and wife Susan of Spartanburg and Jeff Raines and wife Karen of Landrum; a sister, Dorothy Alexander of Lyman; and three grandchildren, Joe Raines, Madison Skinner and husband Matthew and Morgan Raines.

Graveside services will be  held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 12 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
