As head volleyball coach from 1975 to 2010, her teams brought home 30 Conference Championships and won five North Carolina State Volleyball Championships.

In 2008 she was inducted into NC High School Athletic Association Hall of Fame. Other accomplishments she has achieved are too numerous to mention.
