Buford Isaac “Buck” Burrell, 83, of Landrum passed away Feb. 16, 2013. buck-burrell

He was the son of the late Roy and Pauline Wolfe Burrell and husband of Louise “Coot” Burrell.

He was a member of Landrum First Baptist Church and was a member of the Landrum Lions Club.  He was retired from Landrum Mills and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Jerry Burrell (Wendy) of Landrum; a daughter, Chris Burrell of Inman; a brother, Dean Burrell (Doris) of Iron Station, NC ; a sister, Virginia Stacey of Forest City, NC; three grandchildren, Tiffany Moore (Andy), Alex Burrell and Tyler Burrell; and two great-grandchildren, Grayson Burrell and Isaac Moore.

The family will receive friends from 2 -3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19. at Petty Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home chapel conducted by Rev. Andy Allen.  Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home of Jerry Burrell, 345 Earles Fort Road, Landrum.
