Valerie Margaret Black

Valerie Margaret Black, 63, of Tryon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at the Hospice House of the Carolina Foothills.

Raised in Doylestown, Penn., she was a self-employed pet sitter. Mrs. Black loved riding horses and motorcycles.

Mrs. Black is survived by her husband of 10 years, Robert L. Black, of the home; her mother, Margaret Czerniak; a sister, Donna Czerniak; and two brothers, Bob and Ed Czernizk.

Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
