Polk varsity girls trample Thomas Jefferson, lose to Avery

Polk had no trouble handling the Gryphons of Thomas Jefferson building a 34-7 halftime lead en route to an eventual lopsided 66-22 win. Kara Overholt led all scorers with 17 points while Hayley Kropp had 12 points and nine steals for the game. Katie Ruff was the top rebounder with seven.
