Classical Conversations home school presentation

Published 10:23pm Thursday, January 31, 2013

Classical Conversations of Inman and Landrum will present a “Winter Wonderland of Learning,” a program performed by their home school students Friday, Feb. 1.

The various grade levels, K4-11th grade, will present a portion of what they have learned the first half of the school year. The “Winter Wonderland” will take place at the Gowensville First Baptist Church, 5650 N. Hwy. 14, Landrum, SC. Seating will start at 6:20 p.m. with the presentation beginning promptly at 6:45 p.m.

Classical Conversations uses a Christian classical education for home school students. The group meets once a week using trained tutors, who demonstrate the Classical method with the students, while the parents watch and learn.
Parents then use these same methods at home for the remainder of the week with their own children. Classical Conversations offers many classical tools to help in teaching our children at home and to help parents have an organized teaching schedule. The uniqueness of our large number of communities across the United States is the training from kindergarten all the way through high school.
Parents can learn more about a Christian classical home school education by attending the “Winter Wonderland” program. For a further detailed explanation, attend any one of the following information meetings on Feb. 7, Feb. 28 or March 28 at 7 p.m. at the Family Life Center of Gowensville First Baptist Church.
