How archaic

To the editor:

I was shocked when I read the Bulletin Jan. 23 that our commissioners approved a resolution in favor of legal trapping of furbearers in Polk County.

How archaic is that?

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly some humans wish to exterminate our beautiful wildlife while others do everything possible to protect and care for them.

Let us not forget, we live in the “Bible Belt.” These are God’s creatures and we, as humans, are supposed to protect them all.

I agree, Jeanette. Come “like” us at Polk County Against Animal Trapping on facebook and learn more about how you can help prevent this inhumane practice from becoming legal.
