Carol Roger Hart

Carol Roger Hart of Tryon passed away on Friday, January 11 at the Hospice House in Landrum.

Mr. Hart was the great-great-grandson of the late Ephriam and Lucinda Freeman Hart, a pioneer family of Virginia and western North Carolina. He was the great-grandson of Alfred and Susan Greer Hart, a true mountaineer family of Henderson County.

A native and lifelong resident of the Pacolet Valley, he was the son of the late Roy and Irene Jackson Hart and the grandson of the late E. M. and Susie Elsie Anders Hart.

He was an employee of the Landrum Community Cash and the Tryon IGA.

He is survived by Breana Burkett Collier of Lexington, S.C, and one brother, Larry Hart of Forest City, N.C.

Services will be announced at a later date.
