Private Brandon Peters of Golf Company, Platoon 2005 earned the title of Marine after 12 weeks of training at Parris Island, S.C. A graduation ceremony was held Friday, Jan. 4 at Parris Island, S.C. Attending the graduation were parents Brian and Wanda Peters, grandparents Donald and Glenda Jackson and Bruce Peters (who recently passed), aunts Emily Owen and Heidi Taylor, uncle Joe Owen, cousins Whitney and Ashley Taylor and Autumn and Bryson Owen, and family friends Gloria Gilbert and Trevor Stewart.
