Published 3:31pm Monday, January 7, 2013Barbara Hill Ward, 70, of 707 Belue Mill Road died January 5, 2013. She was the daughter of the late Lucille Russell Hill Jones.
She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by a son, Danny Ward, a daughter, Cheryl Thomas; three sisters, Glenda Carswell, Irene Howard and Gail McMurray; a grandson, Brent Thomas and a granddaughter, Ashlee Thomas.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Kathy Lynn Ward; two sisters, Estelle Johnson and Eunice Coggins and two brothers, Arnold Hill and Wayne Jones.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. Monday, January 7, 2013 at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. at the church conducted by Rev. Lynn Stewart and Rev. Wayne Bradley.
The family is at the home of Cheryl Thomas, 707 Belue Mill Road, Landrum.
