- “Go see this show, you jaded souls,” says one New York critic. Described as “genuine,” “well-polished, but spontaneous,” Faye Lane’s Beauty Shop Stories dazzles and delights audiences across the country as Lane recalls characters and tales from her days growing up in Texas with the ladies in her mother’s beauty shop. The award-winning performance will be presented by Tryon Fine Arts Center at 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 11. Tickets are available through the box office at 828-859-8322 or online at www.tryonarts.org.
