- Chauncey Barber, Polk County High School agricultural coordinator, was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Rotary Club of Tryon. His presentation was about the many exciting programs being taught “down on the farm” at the school’s working farm on campus. Following the presentation, a question and answer session provided the Rotarians an opportunity to learn even more about the important educational opportunities available to local students. The club wishes to express its appreciation to Chauncey for his commitment and enthusiasm, which has such a big influence on his students. Pictured with Barber is Rotarian Paul Sutherland.
