Members of the Saluda Elementary School clogging team perform from the bed of a flatbed truck during the Saluda Christmas Parade Saturday, Dec. 15. The clogging team dressed and danced to a train theme in celebration of Saluda’s railroad history. Volunteer Jennifer Hayes leads the team. Hayes originally learned to clog from Principal Ronette Dill and offered to come back and lead the school’s clogging group. Saluda’s parade began at 3 p.m. Saturday and included the cloggers, as well as a husky-pulled wagon full of pooches and Hillbilly cars. (photo by Samantha Hurst)
